The popular TV series, based on R.K. Narayan’s work, has been dubbed into Tamil and telecast for the first time. Set in Narayan’s fictional town of Malgudi, the series is directed by actor and director, Shankar Nag. The music is scored by Carnatic musician L. Vaidyanathan, while Narayan’s brother and famed cartoonist R. K. Laxman has done the sketches.

    Here’s a show on Tamil actress and their style statements. Each week, an actress allows viewers a peek at her personal collection of clothes, shoes and accessories. Also included are a visit to a designer store, putting together various looks and a discussion with designers. Watch Namitha, Sandhya, Sana Khan, Sangeetha, Ragasiya and Aparna talk about their fashion quotient. The host is Amritha Ram, a fashion designer.
